Soot Formation in Stretched Diffusion Flames

Abstract

平行流バーナと伸長流バーナのすす限界の比較実験を行うことにより,伸長流のほうが排出抑制作用が強いことを確認した.火炎面モデルに基づく解析によれば,伸長流中では,すす生成領域における燃料の滞留時間が短縮するためすす濃度が低下し,また,火炎体積が小さくなるため単位時間当たりのすす生成量が少なくなるから,このような火炎内のすす生成の抑制が,伸長流のすす抑制作用の一因となっていることがわかった.
