Abstract

Multi-Sensor Data Fusion In article number 1900088, Hadi Heidari and co-workers describe a smart sensor organizer hierarchical support vector machine, made up of multilayer support vector machines, to cognitively fuse different sensors for better performance of a complex sensing system. This multisensory fusion mechanism is validated by a combination of wearable wrist-worn and contactless radar sensors for novel and accurate gesture recognition.
