Abstract

Wasserabweisend: Fluorierte polyedrische oligomere Silsesquioxane (POSS) wurden durch einstufige basenkatalysierte Kondensation von Trialkoxysilanen erhalten. Die octameren fluorierten Polyeder sind löslich, themisch stabil und hydrophob mit statischen Wasserkontaktwinkeln bis 154°. Das Fluordecyl-POSS weist vermutlich die höchste Hydrophobie eines kristallinen Festkörpers auf.
