Abstract

Traumas may have a physical or psychological cause. In this article we focus on the treatment of traumas with a psychological cause. In some cases, a trauma causes a dissociation of the Self, resulting in a rupture between the constituting parts of the self, negative parts becoming more dominant. The treatment of these patients must lead to reuniting the Self, recreating a wholeness in the person, integration of body, psyche and mind. Next to Minerals, Conifers are important remedies in these cases as they provide tools to help the patient to overcome the fragmentation of the Self and to restore a solid physiological and emotional status. A very typical case of Thuja as a remedy to heal a trauma with a psychological cause is presented.
