Abstract

Unter Licht besehen: Hochreine Nanoröhren aus Wolframsäurehydrat (H2W1.5O5.5⋅H2O) sowie WO3-Nanoröhren mit nanoporösen Wänden (siehe Bild) wurden hergestellt. Beim Acetaldehydabbau zeigen die platinbeladenen WO3-Nanoröhren eine drei- bzw. achtmal höhere photokatalytische Aktivität als kommerzielle Pt-beladene WO3-Partikel und N-dotiertes TiO2.
