Abstract

Wickiup Cave, site 24BE601, is located in the Tendoy Mountains of southwestern Montana. The site consists of a log, brush, and rock wickiup built in a huge limestone cave. The wickiupand numerous artifacts found in the cave are attributed to historic Tukudika Shoshone occupation.
