Abstract

Abstract Aus Thiophen‐2‐carbonylchlorid (I) entsteht das Oxazolin (II), das nach Lithiierung mit Butyllithium und Umsetzung mit Benzaldehyd zu den beiden Carbinolen (III) und (IV) in recht unterschiedlichen Anteilen je nach den angewandten Bedingungen führt.
