Abstract

The article describes the results of synthesis and research of ZnO/TiO 2 composite. The synthesized ZnO/TiO 2 composite was studied by scanning electron spectroscopy (SEM), X-ray phase analysis (XRD), and the optical width of its band gap was determined by the Kubelka-Munch method. The photocatalytic activity of the synthesized ZnO/TiO 2 composite was investigated in the model process of methyl blue and methyl green dyes photodegradation, and compared with the activity of pure TiO 2 and ZnO powders.
