The goal of this paper is to analyze how pedagogical practices of a teacher from the second level at Distrito Federal Kindergarten occur and to identify how the insertion of Science Teaching happens.In order to achieve this, it was made a qualitative research throughout the year of 2016, theoretically based on Franco and Kramer's ideas.We have analyzed the official documents which regulate Preschool Education and from a semi-structured interview with four active teachers in Preschool Education, we have collected data for analysis.It was concluded that the official documents contribute to pedagogical proposal's strengthening, offering the most diverse experiences to children.Furthermore, we have identified the teacher's pedagogical practices, with limitations though.The teacher's interviews analysis made it clear that the science teaching in this level is almost inexistent.
