Soot Formation from Gaseous Fuel Diffusion Flames

Abstract

アセチレン-空気拡散火炎からのすす排出量におよぼす因子の実験的研究を行った.生成されたすすは火炎後流および火炎中でろ紙に吸引し,重量法で計量することにより測定した.その結果,火炎周囲の空気平均速度ならびに乱れの増加とともにすす量は減少し,また層流火炎に遷移すると急に減少する.燃料中に,窒素あるいは炭酸ガスを微量混入することによりすす排出量は著しく減少する.
