Abstract

In this paper, a cooperative nonorthogonal multiple access (NOMA) system transmitting finite blocklength data packets over Rayleigh and Rician fading channels is considered. The decode-and-forward (DF) relay is utilized which can harvest energy from the received signal depending on simultaneous wire-less information and power transfer (SWIPT). Taking practical residual hardware impairments (RHIs) into account, we obtained the analytical expressions on the end-to-end average block error rate (BLER) at all users and throughput of the considered system. Finally, simulation results are provided to verify the correctness of derived analytical expression.
