Numerical Simulation of Flood Routing for Yihe River with Hydrologic and Hydraulic Model

Abstract

The law of flood movement in Yihe river basin is very complex. The flood forecast of Yihe river is studied by using hydrological model in past. The MIKE11 software was used to calculate the flood evolution of Yihe river channel by NAM hydrological model and 1-D hydrodynamic model (HD) in this paper. The calculated results of hydrological model were used as the lateral inflow conditions of HD model. The model parameters were calibrated based on the observed data. The model was verified by field data. The calculated water level and discharged process of Linyi and Gegou hydrology station are basically consistent with the observed data. The efficiency coefficient (NSE) of the model is greater than 0.87.
