Anodic stripping voltammetry of mercury (II) with glassy carbon electrodes

Abstract

極微量水銀 (II) の定量にグラシーカーボン電極を用いるアノーディック・ストリッピング・ボルタンメトリーを応用した.溶液をかき混ぜながら0.5M過塩素酸溶液 (20ml) 中の水銀 (II) を電極上に-0.5V (vs.S.C.E.) で10分間電着させた.ついで, 電極電位を0.2V/minの速度で0.0から+0.8V (vs.S.C.E.) まで走査して溶出電流-電位曲線を記録した.得られた溶出曲線は鋭いピークと小さな残余電流を示した.水銀 (II) の5×10-7~5×10-6M (2~20μg/ml) の範囲でピーク電流と水銀 (II) 濃度との間に直線関係が得られた.さらに, 試料溶液に担体として少量の銅 (II) を添加することによって感度をいっそう向上させることができた.この改良法によって定量下限は2.5×10-8M (0.1μg/20ml) となることがわかった.
