The hybrid energy storage system for smoothing the fluctuation of wind power output

Abstract

A hybrid energy storage configuration model is proposed to smooth the fluctuation of new energy when it is connected to the power grid, and then improve the reliability of the power system with new energy connecting. Compared with the traditional low-pass filter, the hybrid energy storage method is more effective in the optimal operation of power grid. The simulation results show that the smoothed new energy connected to the power grid plays an important role in improving the anti-risk ability of power system operation. At the same time, the reliability index of new energy grid is significantly reduced, and the reliability level of power system is improved.
