Triple-Band Dipole Antenna for Wireless Communication Systems

Abstract

The solution of the problem concerning a thin impedance dipole with local asymmetric excitation derived in the thin-wire approximation. The design of the impedance antenna based on the optimization modeling characterized by three resonant frequencies which intended for mobile communications operating in GSM 900, GSM 1800, and WiMAX ranges is developed. Analysis of basic electrodynamic characteristics of the dipole antenna has proved the possibility of practical applications of this antenna for smartphones, electronic gadgets, and base stations.
