Abstract

Silver nanowire is a kind ideal material for preparing flexible electrodes. We prepare a silver nanowires based transparent conductive film on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate by simple spray coating. The film can keep long-term stability with sheet resistance without obvious changes in 46 days. The sheet resistance and transmittance can reach 33 Ω/sq and 87% at λ=620 nm, respectively. The cycle bending tests show that the sheet resistance increases first and then keeps unchanged under the strains from the junction of the silver nanowires. Using the film as the cathode, we successfully fabricate a CdS@ZnS based quantum dot light emitting diode (LED), which demonstrates that this study provides a feasible simple, low-cost and large-scale production method for the preparation of stable silver nanowires based flexible electrodes.
