Electrochemical fabrication and application of nanocomposite modified electrode with gold nanoparticles and electrochemically reduced graphene oxide

Abstract

Au nanoparticles(Au NPs)and electrochemically reduced of graphene oxide (ERGO)were used to prepare a composite modified electrode(Au NPs-ERGO/GCE)with a glassy carbon electrode(GCE)as the base electrode, which was applied to the electrochemical analysis of glucose.Field-emission scanning electron microscope(FESEM), Raman spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry(CV), and chronoamperometry were used to systematically characterize and analyze the composite modified electrode. The as-prepared composite modified electrode was applied to the electrochemical analysis of glucose. The results show that the prepared Au NPs-ERGO/GCE electrode has good electrocatalytic performance for glucose with a wide detection range, as well as good sensitivity. Also, it has good anti-interference performance against the interferences such as ascorbic acid(AA), uric acid(UA)and chloride ion(Cl-).
