Tunable ultra-narrow linewidth fiber laser based on distributed feedback

Abstract

We propose a tunable ultra-narrow linewidth fiber laser based on the longitude-purification induced by the distributed feedback. Excellent wavelength-universality of the feedback structure makes the side-mode-suppression ratio remains over ~60 dB at each tuning channel.
