This paper addresses several myths and misconceptions about sexuality, as expressed by teenagers in several workshops. In order to show some of these myths that prevent full human development, the authors bring up some questions that teenagers ask themselves, as well as the respective answers given by various studies. The authors also address the issue of gender stereotypes aimed primarily at women. Finally, this paper reasserts that the exertion of one’s sexuality is an important vital function, implying a responsibility towards your own body, which also extends to the care of your sexual partner.
