Abstract

A study is performed for CO2 adsorbents based on mesoporous oxide matrices modified with zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, and sodium carbonate. It is shown that these systems have increased adsorption capacity up to 25–28 wt % (i.e., 0.25–0.28 g of СО2 per 1 g of adsorbent). The sorbents are regenerated at temperatures no more than 200°C to remove adsorbed CO2.
