A dual-band antenna with T-shaped branches is designed. It covers the WLAN bands. The antenna unit consists of an inverted-F antenna with a stub and a L-shaped feeding line. Two antenna units are placed opposite with each other to form a two-element MIMO antenna. T-shaped branches are used to improve the isolation of the antenna. The mutual coupling between two units is reduced. The simulated and measured results show that the isolation is higher than 27.5 dB in the operating bands, and the stable omni-directional radiation performance is obtained too.
