This study used a qualitative approach by obtaining data and information from informants, such as: Muslim parents, children, neighborhood heads, religious leaders, traditional and non-Muslim leaders in the I Kelurahan Losung, Padangsidimpuan City. This study uses observations, interviews and documents as data collection instruments. The data analysis used is a qualitative data analysis technique by processing and drawing conclusions from the collected data which is tested with data validity assurance techniques, participation extension, observation persistence, triangulation and peers. The findings of this study are that there is no problem in the interaction between Muslims and non-Muslims in social life. The educational values that are internalized are faith, worship and morals. To increase knowledge about the values of children's Islamic religious education, parents take the children to school institutions, madrasas, recitation and private lessons at home.
