Due to environmental hazards, energy depletion, equipment failure and other reasons, the sensor nodes can't work properly, which is called sensor node error, Which seriously affects the life of the network, handling Sensor node errors is a must have feature for Wireless sensor network. In the initial stage of fault-tolerant distributed FTCD (Fault Tolerant Clustering Based Distributed) routing, sensor nodes use the distance from CH(Cluster Head), the distance from cluster head to base station and the residual energy information of cluster head to select their own cluster head. In the data routing phase, the cluster head selects the next hop by minimizing the energy consumption, and proposes fault-tolerant processing. Compared with other algorithms, the experimental results show that the performance of FTCD routing is improved significantly.
