Circularly Polarized Antenna Array Based on Open End Waveguide

Abstract

Proposed type of the waveguide 2-D array combines simplicity of the design and manufacturing of the waveguide components with its good performances. Comparing it to the commonly used waveguide slot antennas, they offer stable main beam direction at wide frequency range. In addition, simple method of forming a linear array is easily applicable here, which leads to high gain antenna system. The whole process of modeling and simulations is performed using WIPL-D Pro CAD EM simulation software.
