Resource Allocation for Virtualized Wireless Networks with Mobile Edge Computing

Abstract

It is becoming more and more difficult to manage resource allocation efficiently in virtualized wireless networks. In recent years, information-centric networks (ICN) with mobile edge computing (MEC) which has important impacts on the developments of virtualized wireless networks emerges. In this paper, we formulate the virtual resources allocation strategy as an optimization problem which aims to maximize the revenue earned by mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) and we also propose a distributed virtual resource allocation algorithm based on alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM).
