TiN@TiO2 Core-Shell Nanoparticles as Plasmon-Enhanced Photosensitizers for Photocatalysis

Abstract

We demonstrate the effective generation of singlet oxygen ( 1 O 2 ) catalyzed by hot electrons obtained from the plasmon decay in TiN@TiO 2 core-shell nanoparticles at 700 nm excitation.
