Performance Analysis For Wireless Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access Downlink Systems

Abstract

Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) supports massive wireless mobile devices, increases the spectral efficiency, and also supports the user-fairness, by multiplexing different users to share one wireless resource. In this paper, the analysis of signal outage for NOMA system in case of downlink has been analysed. Successive interference cancellation (SIC) technique has been analysed. Expressions of outage probability are obtained for different user in case of downlink NOMA system over Rayleigh fading channel. Also, the sum rate expression has been analysed. Finally, simulations has been done to confirm the expressions obtained for the different quantities. Also, sum rate comparison has been done to demonstrate the usefulness of this technique.
