This paper presents the mechanical, friction and magnetic properties of the Fe–P binary and Fe–P–Si ternary alloys produced by spark plasma sintering (SPS). The effects of the alloying elements P and Si on the friction, toughness performance, and magnetic properties of their alloys were systematically investigated. The results indicate that toughness performance and magnetic properties are dependent on alloy compositions. The impact toughness energy and saturation magnetic induction increase with the reduction of P content. When held at a sintering temperature of 950°C for 15 min, the saturation magnetic induction, impact toughness, and friction coefficient of Fe–0.4P alloy can reach to 2.0 Т, 64.16 J/cm2, and 0.5, respectively.
