EVALUASI KEBIJAKAN PENANGGULANGAN KEMISKINAN DI KOTA CIREBON

Abstract

Infrastructure development in Cirebon City which is very complicated causes poverty problems with a large number of poor people and increases from year to year, so poverty reduction policies in Cirebon City need to be evaluated in full. The purpose of this study is to examine poverty alleviation policies in the city of Cirebon and the challenges associated with poverty reduction in the city of Cirebon. The research method used is a qualitative method. Data collection was carried out by literature study and field study of interview and observation studies. Data analysis used qualitative analysis, while data validity was checked by triangulation. Based on the results of the evaluation of policies published in the city of Cirebon is still not optimal. Obstacles that hamper poverty alleviation in Cirebon City are the workload of the Cirebon City DSPPPA Social Section is very heavy in poverty alleviation, the responsibilities of officers in the Cirebon City DSPPPA Social Section, a budget that is efficient as well as poverty reduction facilities and infrastructure, not optimal community care and world efforts in tackling poverty, the values of local wisdom have not been animating in poverty alleviation, not yet optimal performance of the Cirebon City TKPK, lack of commitment and political will from the regional head, and a less positive community mentality.
