Objective To investigate the value of superficial lymph node biopsy guided by contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) versus ultrasound elastography. Methods 100 patients with malignant tumor treated and undertaking superficial lymph node biopsy at our hospital from January, 2016 to February, 2017 were selected. The 50 patients undergoing contrast-enhanced ultrasound localization were set as a study group and the other 50 undergoing ultrasound elasticity imaging localization a control group. The diagnostic accuracies were compared between these two groups. Results The diagnostic accuracy was higher in the study group than in the control group (96.00% vs. 80.00%,P<0.05). Conclusion Superficial lymph node biopsy guided by contrast-enhanced ultrasound can improve the diagnostic accuracy and reduce the false negative rate. Key words: Contrast enhanced ultrasound; Ultrasound elastography; Superficial lymph nodes
