Analog Front-end Circuit Design for Wireless Sensor System-on-Chip

Abstract

This paper presents an analog front-end circuit design for the wireless sensor system-on-chip, including a low-noise amplifier, a voltage/current reference source, a power management module, a power amplifier and a band-pass filter. The circuit can perform a series of signal processing on the analog signal collected by the sensor such as amplification, frequency conversion, level adjustment and control, also it can provide a stable supply voltage for the chip. The circuit is suitable for the complex working conditions in power-grid operating environments with high precision, low power consumption and high reliability. It achieves 0.1% analog-to-digital conversion accuracy over a wide current range of 1:2000, and can support real-time low-voltage power monitoring. The measured error is is superior to the GB/T-17215 under the gain and frequency variation test. the gain and frequency variation The operating temperature ranges from −40°C to +85°C.
