Validez y fiabilidad del Cuestionario de Violencia Escolar para Educación Secundaria CUVE3-ESO en adolescentes peruanos

Abstract

The objective of this instrumental study was to establish the validity content, internal structure and reliability of the School Violence Questionnaire for Secondary Education CUVE3-ESO (Álvarez-García, Núñez, & Dobarro, 2012, 2013) in Peruvian adolescent students.Participants were 683 high school students from La Esperanza district of Trujillo, Peru; of both sexes, from 12 to 18 years old.The content analysis revealed a broad consensus in the assessment made by the judges, in the criteria of clarity and coherence. The internal structure was analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis observing adjustment indices for the eight related factors model (Verbal violence of students towards students, verbal violence of students towards teachers, direct physical violence and threats among students, indirect physical violence by students, social exclusion, violence through information and communication technologies, disruption in the classroom and teacher violence towards the students). The reliability for internal consistency was adequate.
