Abstract

In order to rebuild the past of education, it is compulsory to visit the archives. Through your query you can figure out how to build a universe with which to make History of contemporary education. Thus, we present 4 examples of Sevillian archives where you can find sources for historical educational topics, which most of them are not explored yet: the provincial historical, the university, the municipal and the military history. It is clear that mere document juxtaposition does not automatically produce the process of historical reconstruction. That is the reason why our intention is to talk about heuristics and why we will try to provide the documentation they offer.
