Magnesium–Sulfur Batteries: A Multifunctional Separator Enables Safe and Durable Lithium/Magnesium–Sulfur Batteries under Elevated Temperature (Adv. Energy Mater. 5/2020)

Abstract

In article number 1902023, Zhongfu Zhou, Yufeng Zhao, and co-workers design a multifunctional Janus separator by integrating polyimide nonwovens with copper nanowire-graphene nanosheet layer and lithium lanthanum zirconium oxide-polyethylene oxide matrix. Such architecture ensures the safe operation of Li/Mg-S cells under elevated temperature.
