Fluorescence sensing materials, as one of the important components of organic semiconductor photoelectric functional materials, have become a research hotspot in the field of chemical sensing due to their advantages of high sensitivity, strong selectivity and fast response. In recent years, fluorescence sensing materials have been widely used in the fields of anti-terrorism and drug control. However, at present, there are empirical problems in the design and optimization work of fluorescence sensitive materials. Therefore, it is necessary to design sensing materials based on structure-activity combination strategy, deeper understanding physical and chemical properties of the detection target species at molecular level. In this paper, combined with the domestic and overseas cutting-edge work, and our research group's experience in the direction of fluorescence sensing of hazardous chemicals, the design of fluorescence sensitive materials via molecule scale mechanisms is systematically discussed.
