Improved Slip Mode Frequency-Shift Islanding Detection Method

Abstract

In order to overcome the advantages of large output harmonics and complex algorithms of the islands effect detection algorithm in the photovoltaic power generation, based on the analysis of the principle of the sliding frequency shift ingress island detection method and the automatic phase island detection method, an improved sliding frequency shift ingress island detection method is proposed. Compared with the ordinary sliding frequency phase shift island detection algorithm (SMS) and automatic phase offset island detection algorithm (APS), this method has the characteristics of simple design idea and easy to achieve. The simulation design by PSIM shows that the method can accurately detect the occurrence of silos and effectively reduce the number of output harmonics, thus proving the effectiveness of the method.
