Abstract

Optical spectromicroscopy is widely used to visualize microscopic morphologies and functions by analyzing spectroscopic features of amplitude and phase information interacting with a sample. However, conventional spectromicroscopy generally employs either light amplitude or phase measurement due to the difference of optical setup of these two methods, limiting to observe optical properties of samples in a single observation. If simultaneous measurement of amplitude and phase spectra is enabled, it is possible to analyze more detailed information of samples based on such as complex refractive index, polarization characteristics, and so on.
