Fault-Tolerant Multipath Provisioning in Elastic Optical Networks

Abstract

A fault-tolerant multipath provisioning scheme for elastic optical networks is proposed. It minimizes required spectrum resources by allowing to allocate the different numbers of spectrum slots and different amounts of transmission capacity to each path.
