In this study, a new approach for designing a three dimensional (3D) V-shaped antenna array is proposed, which has fully isotropic azimuth and elevation Direction of Arrival (DOA) estimation. The proposed method results in a 3D array by adding additional antenna on the given planar V-shaped array to provide the constraints of equalizing the auto-moments and setting the cross-moments to zero. The performance of the designed 3D V-shaped antenna array is compared to the different arrays.
