Abstract

This article presents a low-cost equipment used for surface scanning. The proposed scanner uses the ultrasound technique. There are several types of devices for scanning using the ultrasound technique, such as sonar or the echography. The solution proposed in this paper it is intendent to be low cost and differs from other scanning possibilities through the presentation of the results, the scanning mode and the introduction of the scan error correction.
