Abstract

The present paper discusses design and developmental aspects of active phased array antennas (APAs). It focusses on technological aspects involved in the design for achieving wide bandwidth and wide scanning APAs. The paper compares dense and sparse APAs with the aid of few case studies supported with measurements.
