Effect of humic acid on the adsorption of levofloxacin to goethite

Abstract

In this work, a common iron mineral goethite (α-FeOOH) was used as the adsorbent, and a widely used antibiotic Levofloxacin (LEV) was used as an example. The aim is to investigate its adsorption to goethite in the presence of HA, and the complexation between HA and LEV.
