ChemInform Abstract: Synthesis of Enantiomerically Pure 2,3‐Disubstituted Isoxazolidin‐5‐ones.

Abstract

Abstract The α,β‐unsaturated sugar lactones (I) react with the hydroxylamines (II) to give the optically pure 3‐(hydroxyalkyl)isoxazolidin‐5‐ones (III) which are characterized as acetates or silyl ethers.
