Abstract

Abstract While crystal structure analysis remains the most powerful analytical tool for the elucidation of host-guest structures, a greater understanding of the behaviour of these compounds is achieved by studying their thermal stabilities and kinetics of formation and desolvation. Various analytical techniques for the study of inclusion compounds are outlined and evaluated.
