Abstract

Me 2 Sn(O 2 PMe 2 )2 has been prepared from the reaction of Me 2 PO 2 H and Me 2 SnS in benzene, and Al(Ο 2 ΡΜe 2 ) 3 and Cl 2 Sn(O 2 PMe 2 ) 2 have obtained from the reaction of Me 2 PO 2 H with AlCl 3 and SnCl 4 , respectively in CH 2 Cl 2 . The vibrational spectra of the compounds were found to be consistent with polymeric structures with hexacoordinated metal atoms.
