When using wavelet transform for electric power system harmonic detection, different decomposition scales, wavelet bases, and signal sampling rates have a great impact on the quality of signal decomposition. In order to find a set of parameters with universal ability, this paper proposes a wavelet transform power system harmonic detection method based on particle swarm optimization (PSO), and sets the fitness function. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by simulation experiments, and the decomposition quality of wavelet transform is improved.
