In this paper, we address the problem of extraction of road network from satellite images THRS and its implementation with OTB (Orfeo ToolBox). It will consist mainly for us to study and implement as OTB, a method of extraction of existing road network as mentioned in the literature review. We present in this document, a processing sequence that consists of three main blocks: the first block, dedicated to a multi-scale analysis in order to reduce noise effects. The second deals with extracting roads by the technique of spectral angle and monitoring by the Kalman filter. The third block sub-samples the image and reduces its size by half. The whole process is executed in a loop for pyramid generation. The implementation with OTB is facilitated by the multitude of applications it offers, and their easy integration for a specific application. This methodology takes into consideration, radiometric and geometric information and corrects the defects encountered in several existing systems and significantly reduces the false alarm rate.
