LEXICO-STYLISTIC PECULIARITIES OF TOURIST’S INTERNET COMMENTARY

Abstract

The article examines lexico-stylistic characteristics of a tourist’s Internet commentary. Scientific originality of the study lies in the fact that Internet commentaries are for the first time analysed from the viewpoint of the gender aspect. The authors identify the basic lexico-stylistic means and purposes of their usage in the Russian tourists’ commentaries. The paper examines such types of Internet commentary as a commentary-advice, commentary-warning and commentary-gratitude. The commentaries are classified into positive, negative and mixed ones and are analysed from the viewpoint of the gender aspect. The analysis has allowed identifying the typical features of male and female tourist’s commentaries.
