Wideband Rectenna with Inductive High-Impedance Folded Dipole Antenna

Abstract

For wideband conjugate matching, the inductive high-impedance folded dipole antenna is proposed to be combined with a rectifier with capacitive admittance, in this paper. The proposed rectenna achieves relative bandwidth of 43%, which covers the entire Japanese DTV bandwidth (470-700 MHz). The measured rectification efficiency is higher than 19% at the input power of -15 dBm.
