Solid-State Lithium Lanthanum Titanate-Polymer Composite Electrolyte for Lithium Ion Batteries

Abstract

Three dimensional (3D) pervoskite-type Li 0.33 La 0.557 TiO 3 nanofibers have been incorporated with a polymer matrix to form a solid-state composite electrolyte. This flexible solid-state electrolyte composite membrane exhibits high ionic conductivity at room temperature, a large electrochemical stability window and good mechanical stability in symmetric Li|electrolyte|Li cell.
